How to measure your Belgian Malinois dog for good fit Collar:
Please be advised that:
- For buckle collar when you specify neck size we will make a collar fit on central hole.
- There will be totally 5 holes and distance between each 2 holes is 1 inch (25 mm).
- For example: your dog's neck size is 20 inch (50 cm). A collar will fit on central hole at 20 inch (50 cm).
- There will be 2 smaller size holes - 18 inch (45 cm) and 19 inch (47.5 cm).
- There will be 2 bigger size holes - 21 inch (52.5 cm) and 22 inch (55 cm).
- There will also be tip of the collar after last hole about 2 inch long (5 cm).
- Those are handcrafted collars and some sizes will differ a little (not in significant way).
- 2 ply leather collars and padded leather collars are 1 inch bigger to make sure that it will fit your dog.
This Slim Malinois Dog Collar is made of thick qualitative natural leather. The collar strap is 1 inch (25 mm) wide. There are no doubled up fillers and machine stitching, so this supply won’t fray at the edges.
This model is decorated with brass circles that are equally set with rivets along the collar strap. Riveting secures these metal elements from falling out. The adjustable area (near the buckle) is also riveted. So this supply will be able to be in everyday usage during many years.
As all classic buckled dog collars this one can be regulated according to a dog’s neck size. Also it has strong D-ring for a leash attachment. The fittings are made of durable steel that is covered with nickel. This plating protects the hardware from rust and corrosion that is very important for long service of this product.
