How to measure your Belgian Malinois dog for good fit Collar:
Please be advised that:
- For buckled collar when you specify neck size we will make collar fit on central hole.
- There will be totally 5 holes and distance between each 2 holes is 1 inch (25 mm).
- For example, your dog's neck size is 20 inches (50 cm), so collar will fit on central hole at 20 inches (50 cm).
- There will be 2 smaller size holes - 18 inches (45 cm) and 19 inches (47.5 cm).
- There will be 2 bigger size holes - 21 inches (52.5 cm) and 22 inches (55 cm).
- There will also be the tip of the collar after last hole about 2 inches long (5 cm).
- Those are handmade collars and some sizes will differ a little (not in significant way).
- Two ply leather collars and padded leather collars are 1 inch bigger to make sure that it will fit your dog.
The collar strap which is crafted of the full grain genuine leather has flexible and strong structure. It doesn't stretch and saves its shape for a long time. It is pleasant to touch and soft for sensitive skin around the neck. Such qualities allows a dog to feel comfortable being in this supply.
To adjust this Terrific Dog Collar use one of five holes and the buckle on the opposite end of the leather strap. To fasten it on your dog the end with the holes should go through D-ring and only then to the buckle. Such scheme of the collar fixation allows to distribute the pulling force along bigger area, it protects from early damage of the collar strap near the buckle. Also for this purpose the adjustable area is strengthened with six rivets that are hand set by our craftsmen.
To make this supply extremely long-servicing we equipped it with rustproof hardware: the buckle, D-ring, plates are resistant to corrosion. Each carved plate is set with two rivets to prevent the loss of decorative details while constant usage of this collar.
